Sketchbook:Creative Buildings

I have been enjoying drawing creative perspectives and building lately. THey are all just from my head. I really should get out and draw from life more Turning a boring building into an awesome creation is really quite fun and boosts creativity.  In Unleashed Imagination my assignment was to draw a library isle...BORING!!! So I turned it into something fun!!!

Head Drawing: Drawing in the Lights

 Here are some head drawings from my head drawing class I took. For these drawings I only drew in the lights. I really enjoyed this technique. It really makes you look at the figure and distinguish the difference between light and shadow. 

Sketchbook: Go To a Museum

So I am going to start posting more of my sketchbook. I have SKETCHBOOKS filled. Not all of them are complete though. hehe. I am going to start giving advice and tips in hopes of helping and inspiring other artists.

My first advice. Go to a museum to sketch! It is really quite fun. I did this for the first time a little while ago. I went to a cool carousel exhibit. I didn't ever finnish my sketches but that's alright. I got the basic lines down an I was able to really look at the exhibits I chose to sketch.

Illustration Friday: Robot

I decided I would finally do another IF now that the semester is over. I just used on of my scrap pieces of illustration board and had fun with this guy. 

P.S. Sorry for the bad photo. I didn't really want to drive into town just to scan this. :p I'll update the photo someday though.
